A table and chair set designed and hand carved by myself. I made this set after a trip to Costa Rica. While on a hike one day to some hot springs the path opened up to a lounge set sitting in the middle of the path. The pieces where incredibly simple, just logs cut lengthwise for benches and table. When tasked with making a matching living room set I was taken back to that moment; the hot air around me, the sweet smell of the forest heavy in the air, and the sound of the rushing river was dimmed through the trees. I wanted a set that called back to nature, that could be found along a path while on a hike and was fit to be amongst the broad leaves and butterflies.
